Recently Booz Allen announced the launch of Booz Allen Ventures with an initial fund of $100 million. This corporate venture capital initiative will actively invest in startups in artificial intelligence/machine learning, cyber defense, defense tech, and deep tech, to include quantum computing, 5G, augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR), and edge computing.
The fund’s immediate goal is to efficiently and cost-effectively connect federal clients to critical technologies for their missions. In the bigger picture, Booz Allen Ventures aims to link the U.S. public sector to an innovation supply chain for national security and economic vitality.
