1. We meet you where you are: We know job openings for cloud engineers or penetration testers may not seem like an obvious fit. That’s why we’re out in the military community raising awareness of the opportunities available in tech. We’re focused on helping veterans find career paths in cyber, analytics, and digital solutions. Learn more by attending a recruiting and networking event near you.
2. We help you upskill: From fellowships to apprenticeships, to our own in-house training programs, there are a number of ways you can upskill into an analytics, cyber, or digital job at Booz Allen. Our trusted training partners will equip you with the skills you need to take the next step in your career. Through the Hiring Our Heroes corporate fellowship program, you can request an analytics or digital-focused fellowship with Booz Allen before you transition out of the military. Other trusted training partners include the Hire Vets Now fellowship program, Microsoft’s Software and Systems Academy, VetJobs.org,and Booz Allen’s own Tech Excellence program.
3. We support an extended transition from military to civilian life: In the military, service and support go hand in hand. We share those values, which makes us a natural home for veterans and military spouses looking to put their expertise and passion for service to good use. After serving as an infantry and acquisition officer for 20 years, Joel Dillon left the Army with an understanding of how technology helps warfighters achieve overmatch and a desire to serve in a new way. He sought out training in technologies like cloud computing and landed a job at Booz Allen. Now, Joel leads our Digital Warrior initiative, creating innovative technologies that protect and enable the next generation of warfighters.
