Steven Tomita is a solution architect who supports critical missions through an integrated, systems-of-systems approach. His teams adapt and apply innovations, emerging use-case discoveries, and existing solutions to generate new value by drawing on a wide range of technologies and disciplines.
His in-depth experience with functional domains—such as cyber and enterprise information technology—and technical expertise in digital engineering, 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning enables Steven to introduce innovative solutions that enhance critical mission capabilities.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Steven was with Navy Enterprise Networks as a technology leader in the organization focused on developing the Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net), two of the three Navy enterprise networks. In addition, in the commercial sector, he developed approaches for low-cost space object identification and tracking.
Steven earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a master’s degree from Hawaii Pacific University. He also is certified as an information systems security professional and project management professional.
