Michele Hintz leads the Digital Solutions business for U.S. Army clients. In this role, she works closely with clients worldwide to develop systems that support our soldiers and their complex mission requirements. Michele collaborates with leaders across the firm to identify opportunities to bring innovation to the Army and build talented teams to excel in delivering quality solutions.
In her nearly 30 years of consulting experience, Michele focused on program management and all phases of systems development and implementation. During her time at Booz Allen, she’s also worked with clients across our Defense, Civil, and Commercial businesses to develop software solutions for their most complex organizational challenges, including the Department of Defense, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Transportation, and the College Board, among others.
Michele also serves as an executive sponsor for university recruiting, focusing on attracting top, diverse STEM talent to advance our innovation agenda and to continue to grow our technical capabilities.
Prior to joining Booz Allen in 2000, Michele was a vice president and leader for corporate software development and operations for two small businesses, ISSI, Inc. and Environmental Risk Information and Imaging Services, where she learned all aspects of corporate leadership, including business development, financial operations, product design and delivery, client engagement, and talent development. She also worked as an economist for the Defense Intelligence Agency where she briefed consumers on economic issues, including the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Office of the President.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Michele is a committed volunteer, supporting organizations such as Special Olympics Virginia and Miriam’s Kitchen.
Michele has a B.A. in economics from the University of Virginia, an M.B.A. from the College of William and Mary, and is a certified project management professional through the Project Management Institute.
