Megan Smith-Branch is an organizational psychology expert in Booz Allen’s responsible artificial intelligence (AI) practice. Based in Rochester, New York, she operationalizes and advances responsible AI at scale for our civil, defense, and intelligence clients. In addition, Megan advises on AI and workforce initiatives.
Before joining Booz Allen, Megan was the chief operating officer for CertNexus, a personnel certification company providing vendor-neutral certifications in emerging technology. While there, she managed the company's International Organization for Standardization (ISO) accreditation and Department of Defense 8140 Directive approvals.
Megan is active in several professional organizations, including the Society for Human Resource Management and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She has also been an instructor and advisor for Coursera AI and AI ethics specializations.
Megan holds an M.S. in industrial and organizational psychology from George Mason University and a B.A. in fine arts and psychology from Alfred University.
