Craig Swanson is a leader in Booz Allen’s Strategic Innovation Group, with a focus on digital transformation for civil government agencies. Craig applies more than 20 years of experience in commercial and federal technology modernization to drive mission value through modern, experience-driven digital ecosystems that employ cloud-native platforms and product management techniques. He specializes in modernizing legacy and disparate computing and data environments into shared platforms (hybrid and multicloud, as-a-service offerings) to improve enterprise resilience, mission agility and to accelerate analytics and machine learning solutions.
Craig partners closely with cyber and analytics experts to deliver a holistic approach and to ensure digital solutions are secure and intelligent by design. His expertise includes mobilizing culture around technology through DevSecOps practices to drive integration and automation across the enterprise. Craig is committed to maximizing the value of government services to citizens by transforming the way work gets done. This is accomplished through modern applications—open source, low-code tools and microservice architectures—on modern cloud-native platforms.
Previously, Craig was responsible for advancing digital capabilities across Booz Allen’s defense business, and managing key industry partnerships around cloud, data, and mobility. He led practices in mobile, open source enterprise geographic information systems (EGIS), enterprise integration (API management and service-oriented architectures), and Internet of Things. As a result, he helped organizations modernize their systems, unlock data with modern digital architectures, and extend solutions to users where and when they needed them to accelerate mission transformation.
