Vice President Bob Miller is a leader in Booz Allen's facility infrastructure and environment business, focused on delivering facility infrastructure, energy, and environment capabilities to the Department of Defense from San Antonio, Texas. He has more than 25 years of professional experience, including 7 years in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineers Corps, 3 years as a general construction project manager, and most recently 19 years in facility and environmental consulting.
He has supported a wide range of clients, including the Air Force Civil Engineering Command, Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Defense Logistics Agency, U.S. Air Force Europe, Army Environmental Command, Army Corps of Engineers Wiesbaden, and other Department of Defense customers.
Bob joined Booz Allen in 2001 and has filled numerous roles of increasing responsibility. In addition to his leadership in delivering facility infrastructure and environmental solutions to federal government clients, Bob is the location general manager in San Antonio for locations including more than 600 employees across 10 markets spanning four states.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Bob was an officer in the U.S. Navy, a consultant in a small business, and a project manager for a small construction company. His areas of expertise include:
- Construction project management (as owner and builder)
- Management of maintenance, repair, and construction contracts
- Public works leadership
- Engineering, maintenance, planning, transportation, environmental, and utilities support
- Mid- to long-range facility and infrastructure planning
Bob is passionate about community partnerships and serves on the South Texas Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night Executive Board. He chairs a scholarship committee at Texas A&M, where he has helped develop an endowment. Bob is a champion for diversity and inclusion, as well as wellness. He serves as an executive sponsor for Women in Engineering and supports the firm’s Military & Veterans Business Resource Group.
Bob holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Texas A&M University.
