The National Security Agency (NSA) established the Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Program to allow U.S. government agencies to encrypt data-in-transit (DIT) and data-at-rest (DAR) leveraging two independent layers of encryption to effectively protect classified data. Having the ability to leverage commercial technology gives agencies the ability to implement wireless networks and use modernized endpoints in their classified missions.
